Our Program accepts Cash payments, or Subsidized Childcare Programs, such as Child Care Resource Center, CalWORKs, Gain, Department of Children and Family Services, North Valley Regional Center, Crystal Stairs, Military programs NACCRRA , DFCS, Dept. of Family and Children Services and much more. We do include special children in our classrooms if we can accommodate each child's need's It’s All About Family: The goal at Penny & Peggy Nairn 24-Hour Childcare, Inc. Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley Child Care is to produce happy, intelligent, well-adjusted children. Here you will find a nurturing, educational, multicultural environment for children of all ages, newborn to 12 years old. We provide separate classrooms for each of the following age groups: Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Before and After School care. We recognize that each child has their own talents, learning styles and personalities. Our Highly Qualified Teachers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. Parent Involvement: Some fun things we do are as follows: We invite parents to participate and volunteer in your own child's classrooms and on field trips. We have buggy rides for the infants and toddlers (weather permitting) and nature walks for the older children. School picture day a couple times a year for every age is fun. Our science areas have live animals inside and outside: rabbits, frogs, bearded dragons, turtles, water plants and so much more. Meals provided at no additional charge for all ages. California Department of Nutrition Services assists us in the funding for your child's snacks and meals. You are required to complete an annual form for participation. No parent will be charged additional rates no matter what your income is; all children will receive free, hot meals and snacks during attendance.Includes: Meals, Snacks, Formula and Baby Food
*Note: For children on baby food and formula, please discuss details with the Director or the Infant Teachers. Children will be fed their regular meal if they are here at mealtimes; otherwise, parents are responsible for feeding their child/children.
Please inform the office of any food restrictions or food allergies at time of enrollment. You are requested to complete our food program enrollment application at time of enrollment.All meals are provided with the assistance of the Calif. Department of Education Nutrition Program. For special requests and ALLERGIES, please check with the Directors.All parents are required to supply the childcare center with their weekly schedule
if you have a varied schedule, including their drop off and pick up times.
All parents must call the center if there is any emergency, and/or if a child cannot be picked up on time.
Every day is a new learning day for your child/children and us.School Age Transportation Children will be provided transportation to and from school if the Authorization forms are completed with an additional emergency release form, and all bus rules are followed and signed by each parent and student. If a parent neglects to give the office a copy of the child's school calendar and any changes on early days, we may not be able to accommodate last minute changes. It is important that a parent call the van phone if any last minute changes take place or if a child will not be at the place of pick-up.

Curriculum and Lesson Plans Each classroom's lesson plans are posted on the entrance of each classroom with each week/monthly/seasonal themes. We allow each child to be creative and have an open ended creative curriculum. Check with the Director for more information at time of your tour.
